Welcome from the Governors
The Governors of Surfleet Primary School work in partnership with the Headteacher and staff to help ensure that every child receives the best possible education in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.
Governors are responsible for providing strategic oversight and challenge, supporting the school’s vision and values, and holding leaders to account for educational outcomes, safeguarding, and the effective use of resources. While governors are not involved in the day-to-day running of the school, they play an important role in shaping its direction and ensuring statutory responsibilities are met.

The Clerk to the Governors is Belinda Lane, who supports the governing body and acts as the main point of contact. All correspondence for the governors should be made via the Clerk (belinda.lane@keystonemat.org), who will ensure that messages are directed appropriately.
